Jonathan Albert is the founder of King of the Storm.

From a young age, I was drawn to all things creative—sketching, painting, and even building intricate strategies in computer games. Looking back, it wasn’t just about aesthetics. It was about building things that worked, that had form and function. Unknown to me then, this quiet fascination was shaping a powerful skill: problem-solving through creativity. But my journey wasn’t a straight line into design. I come from an academic background, holding degrees in Forensic Science and Conflict Management, and having worked as an Assistant Professor. My world was research, logic, structure—and I loved it. Yet, the creative urge remained, quietly alive in my passion for photography and storytelling. Then came the COVID-19 lockdown—a storm that shifted the course of many lives, including mine. While interning for a policy think tank, I was asked to design Zoom posters, eBooks, and seminar brochures. To my surprise, they loved the work. Those projects led to paid gigs, and with the free time lockdown gave us all, I dove deep into the world of design—learning tools, refining skills, and realizing I had found my medium of impact. That period wasn’t just a career shift—it was a transformation. After a few years of freelancing and building my portfolio, I founded King of the Storm.

So, Why the Name ?

Because storms are inevitable—especially in business. Whether you’re a startup finding your voice or an established brand hitting a wall, every venture faces confusion, chaos, and crossroads. King of the Storm exists to help you find clarity, build stability, and then grow with purpose. Through creative design thinking, we help you see where you’re going, stand firm in who you are, and move forward with confidence. We offer brand identity development, logo design, packaging, social media, and strategic visual storytelling—not just to make things look good, but to make them work. At our core, we believe creativity is not fluff—it's function. It’s the silent catalyst behind meaningful change. And while we may not be mental health professionals, educators, or environmentalists, by helping those who communicate powerfully and reach the right people, we are part of solving their problems too.
